Beginning Friday September 10, 2010 until November 26, 2010, Last Raps Baseball Corp. will resume it’s Friday night Drop-In Clinics at the Mizuno School of Baseball on the Campus of the University of British Columbia. These Drop-In Clinics will start at 6pm and run to 9pm. These clinics will last for 12 weeks in length.
Due to the size of the Mizuno School of Baseball the Drop-In Clinics will be limited to 12 participants. From August 8th to August 31st, we will be offering sign up registration for our Platinum Plan ONLY! After that date, we will open up registration for our other plans.
Each week a UBC coach, or a selection of UBC baseball players, will be on duty to oversee these Drop-In Clinics. At least three days before the session, we will announce via this website who the coach or players that will be on duty that night to lead the clinic. Each coach or selection of players will have a theme for that night. Those themes could be hitting, pitching, fielding, catching, outfield or infield instruction, base running or a combination of these activities.

“I haven’t given it (achieving 3,000 hits) much thought. I was taught a certain approach, how to come to the ballpark. I try not to do too much thinking about things like that. In this society we measure success in different ways. Three thousand (hits) represents success over a career, not a season. It’ll be nice to get to that point.”
— Hall of Famer Cal Ripken Jr. on reaching 3,000 hits.
